Bethesda Starts Off E3 With Rock and Rage 2

Andrew W. K. and a very tall man standing next to a much tinier man introduced Rage 2 tonight during Bethesda‘s E3 2018 show. The new Rage 2 trailers have basically shown a lot of guns, a bunch of pink dust and more mohawks per capita than Cyberpunk 2077‘s trailer. Gameplay of the “Eden Space Center” mission was shown, which started off with a lot of fast-paced vehicle explosions, and ended with… more explosions. Rage 2 is slated for a Spring 2019 release.

Of course, Bethesda is never without a sense of humor. Smack in the middle of the gameplay, we zoomed into an old tv, where a mail order ad for a “Ruckus the Crusher talking head” appeared. It was one of those great little Bethesda moments where they interrupt some serious stuff with something ridiculous.

I won’t lie when I say this game feel a little bit like the Borderlands clone I’m not sure I want, but it looks like so much fun to play, and the art style is really drawing me in. It’s colorful and clean, and there’s lots of crazy characters.
