That’s right die-hard Resident Evil fans, Resident Evil 2 is being remade for modern consoles, and it is coming sooner than you might think! Capcom is releasing the remake on January 25, 2019, and fans are already stoked!
The trailer started off with more questions than answers as it begins from the viewpoint of a rodent. It isn’t until we see a man chewing out the neck of another that Leon Kennedy steps in. The zombie-infested Raccoon City needs a hero, and Leon Kennedy and Claire Redfield will both be playable characters in the game. One major change to the game will be the third-person view versus the fixed camera angles of the original.
Producer Yoshiaki Hirabayashi announced the remake back in 2015, but things have been pretty quiet since the announcement. But Resident Evil 2 is set to release on January 25, 2019; so start prepping your zombie-shooting skills now!
